Tintaldra Tea Rooms

Tintaldra Store

Historic Tintaldra Tea Rooms extablished in 1864 is the TOP SPOT at the top of the Murray River for tourist coaches and travellers.

Built of natural materials available in the area at the time (such as River Red Gum and Stringy Bark) the store is a living history taking visitors back in time.

Dinkum Aussie tucker is served on enamel plates in the licensed dining room where you will be entertained with Bush Poetry and Bush Music. Other light meals are available with Devonshire Tea a very popular choice.

Coach groups are advised to book in advance - maximum 50.

The Museum Section has a 150 year old organ as well as other artifacts of the era including a wood-fired bakery.

Should you wish to linger longer in this superbly beautiful unspoilt part of the Upper Murray, Bette's Bed and Breakfast is the place for you. All rooms open onto a wide verandah which overlooks the Upper Murray River to the Snowy Mountains. To the west is the majestic Pine Mountain National Park, a paradise for bush walkers.

Home cooked meals, local wines and friendly hospitality will make your stay a memorable one.
